Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to have my maternity shoot?

Between 30-38 weeks. I have photographed mothers right up to their due date, however just incase your baby comes early I would advise leaving a few weeks before the due date.

What do I need to provide?

A pair of black, white and nude underwear.

Clothing; 1-2 favourite dresses, tops, jumpers, trousers/skirts - either floaty or figure hugging to show off your bump.

The aim is to wear outfits you feel comfortable in. I will also bring some floaty materials to give a variety of styles.

Any props such as a hat, a pair of heels and any sentimental jewellery you would like to be in your photographs.

Music, if playing something you like in the background will help you relax & enjoy the photo shoot.

Will I have to pose nude?

No, we will discuss your preferences of style prior to the session. My aim is for you to feel comfortable throughout the shoot. All of my photographs have the private areas covered by the use of materials, the position of poses, clothes or the use of silhouettes in a combination with floaty materials. Please see                                  for examples.

When will my images be ready?

Your edited images will be ready 7-10 days following the shoot.

How far in advance do I need to book?

1-2 weeks for weekday bookings (Mon-Fri)

3-4 weeks for weekend bookings (Sat-Sun)

Please contact me via the                           if you would like your session sooner and I will be happy to accommodate last minute sessions if possible.

Can my partner and children be included in the maternity shoot?

Yes, I will carry out a session with you first and then your partner and/or children can join in, this can be discussed at the time of booking.
